Insula - Sardinia Quality World represents an intriguing taste of the Insula model, expressed through the valorisation of the Sardinian territory, its biodiversity, and its production chains. In practice, its food and wine heritage which is not only the sea and not only accessible during the summer months. A project whose cornerstone is the commitment to promoting the destination Sardinia in Italy and around the world, which last year included eleven stages of a roadshow in Italy and Europe.

The aim of Insula - Sardinia Quality World is to gather Sardinian excellences and promote them through a travelling tour to discover the scents and flavours of Sardinia starting from Milan, then Turin, Brussels, Lyon, Zurich, Munich and Frankfurt. Gastronomy as a passport to the world. Sardinia in its food products, symbolic food of the new genetic 'concept' of longevity, interpreted according to the rules of marketing. The role of ambassador falls once again to Insula, the platform born from an intuition of Cipnes Gallura to enhance and, above all, sell the products of the long food chain.

Insula, with its 'longevity food' platform, started off back in 2018 with a 60-square-metre corner at Cibus, the international food fair in Parma. Then came a long journey and a new mission, presenting a manifesto of Sardinian excellence and tradition that focuses on the most important commercial 'corners' on the island. The first had opened at Forte Village in Santa Margherita di Pula. The second in the Marina of Porto Cervo. A project that is also running on Sardinian soil, thanks to the agreement between CIPNES and the local administrations to create spaces where Insula corners, in technical jargon 'Temporary stores', can be positioned. In these spaces, it is possible to buy Sardinian products with the presence of side events, such as cooking shows with leading Sardinian and national chefs.

The project is called 'Insula-Sardinia Village Tour'. In fact, the main mission of 'Insula Longevity Food' is to promote the products of Sardinia, one of the 'Blue Zones' which are places in the world (together with Ikaria, Loma Linda, Okinawa, Costa Rica) where people live longer thanks to its food and the consumption of healthy and natural products. The gastronomic profile of the fair is enriched by the new format of the institutional "food courts", spaces for tasting and cooking typical local products. In addition, for the first time there is the 'gourmet taste' area, consisting of a selection of companies that offer the opportunity to taste international gourmet products, with exhibitors from Europe and Asia.
