Insula tells stories of Sardinia at Porto Cervo Marina, in the home of glamour and luxury vacations, in an evocative journey between tradition and innovation. The appointment with Insula-Sardinia Quality World will be for tomorrow, Saturday, August 5, from 7:30 p.m., in the evening event, in Porto Cervo Marina, discovering “A World Called Sardinia”. Tasty event that will begin with “The paths of food and wine tourism”, taking visitors on an experiential journey through the flavors of the island with the “Sardinia menu” that will be served in the Insula Sardinia Experiences Restaurant. The evening's program dedicated to promoting “destination Sardinia” will continue with the “Sardinia Yesterday&Today” fashion show, dedicated to a selection of the island's best ateliers and goldsmith arts; followed by musical entertainment with Eleonora Georgia Sale who will enchant the audience with her harp, performing songs inspired by the island's sounds. The Oristano folk group, then, will help enliven the evening with dances and sounds typical of Sardinia.
The Insula Sardinia Experiences Restaurant offers five food and wine routes all Made in Sardinia. The Insula Bistrot route offers a tasty, typical and informal break to discover the flavors of the island. Then there is the Insula pizza, whose uniqueness is given by the use of ingredients from the island's best food and fish production. The Resuarant and grill offers a sensory journey among tasty traditional island dishes revisited by the chefs, in a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Then there is the Insula Lounge, a journey to discover the best wines of our land, craft beers, liqueurs and spirits. Finally, Insula Showroom, where you can find the best food and wine productions of Sardinia. Baked goods (breads, and typical sweets), a rich delicatessen with cheeses and cold cuts, the wine cellar with a wide selection of DOC and DOCG wines, liqueurs and spirits from the island. In addition, there is also a showcase of the most beautiful creations of Sardinia's designers and master artisans, from traditional jewelry, to the magnificent weavings of the Sardinian carpet, from the creations of the masters of ceramics and wood, to the productions of our tailors and fashion ateliers in a journey between tradition and innovation.
Insula “Sardinia Quality World” is a network dedicated to the promotion of the destination Sardinia, told through the formula of experiential tourism and the presentation, internationalization and distributional development of the island's production chains. The project is the result of an agreement between the Regional Department of Tourism, Handicrafts and Trade, together with Cipnes Gallura. Insula was therefore born with the purpose of telling the story of Sardinia through a formula of experiential tourism not only for the sea, but through an integrated offer to discover the “world of Sardinia”: with food and wine experiences, immersive tours between history, archeology, nature, folklore, art and design.
